After the Interagency Regional (seven countries in Central America) Partnership Framework Evaluation completed in July 2013, and the review and incorporation coming from the recommendations, there is still an opportunity to get into some gaps identified by the evaluation requesting more information or rapid and punctual actions. The GH Tech mechanism will provide that opportunity, since the funds are allocated there, this mechanism could resolve in a short period of time some specific requests of TA coming from the countries or RCM, in order to fill some information gaps or provide a short period of assistance with concrete deliverables to support the regional HIV/AIDS response in the region.

Mechanism Target Information

Since COP2014, PEPFAR no longer produces narratives for every mechanism it funds. However, PEPFAR has now included performance targets or indicator information for each mechanism based on the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting (MER) system. The MER guidance is available on PEPFAR's website https://www.pepfar.gov/reports/guidance/. Note that COP years 2014-2015 were under a previous version of the MER system and the indicators and definitions may have changed as of the new 2.0 guidance.

This mechanism has no published performance targets or indicators.
